How much smaller will my PDF get?
Results vary depending on the file. PDFs with lots of metadata, duplicate objects, or unoptimized structures can see significant reductions. Image-heavy PDFs may see smaller gains since images are not re-compressed.
Does compression reduce quality?
No. This tool optimizes the PDF structure and removes metadata — it does not re-compress images or alter page content. The visual output is identical to the original.
Why is my file barely smaller?
If the PDF was already optimized or is mostly images, there may not be much to strip. The tool is most effective on PDFs generated by word processors, design tools, or scanners that embed extra metadata.
