Is an electronic signature legally binding?
Yes. Electronic signatures are legally binding under the U.S. ESIGN Act, the EU eIDAS Regulation, and equivalent laws in most countries. Each request keeps a full audit trail of who viewed and signed, and when.
Does the signer need an account?
No. They get a secure link by email, review the document, and sign in their browser. No account, no app, no signup.
Can people sign in a set order?
Yes. Choose to sign in sequence and only the first signer is notified. Each next signer is notified when the one before them has signed.
What happens after everyone signs?
The signed PDF is saved to your workspace as a new file and everyone receives a link to the completed document. The original stays unchanged.
Can I verify who is signing?
Yes. Turn on email verification and each signer must enter a code sent to their email before they can sign. It is recorded in the audit trail.
