Add The Drive AI app to your Microsoft Teams workspace. Then add it to any channel you want monitored. The app only has access to channels it is explicitly added to.
When someone uploads a file in a channel The Drive AI is in, the AI reads it and decides where it goes — based on your existing folder structure in The Drive AI, or custom routing rules you define.
