Does the person I ask need an account?

No. They get an email with a personal upload link, see what you asked for, and upload through a web page. Nothing to sign up for or install.

Can I ask for specific documents?

Yes. Add a checklist, a W-2, a 1099, bank statements, and each person uploads each document to its own slot. You can see per person what has arrived and what is still missing.

How do reminders work?

Choose how often when you create the request. Whoever still owes a document gets a reminder on that schedule until the request is closed or everything is in.

Where do the uploaded files go?

Into the folder you chose in The Drive AI. Add a workflow to that folder and each upload is read and filed further as it arrives, by client, by year, or however you describe it.

Is the upload link secure?

Each person’s link is their own and works until the request is closed. Files are encrypted in transit and at rest, and only your workspace can see what was uploaded.
