Pricing questions
Can I try it for free?
Yes. The free plan includes 20 assistant tasks a month, each working on up to 50 files, plus 10 workflow files per month, up to 50 files, and 1 GB of storage. No credit card required, and paid plans start at 500 assistant tasks a month.
What is an assistant task?
A job the assistant does with your files, like "total my Acme invoices from 2025" or "rename these by the date on the page". Chatting with it doesn't count: answering its questions, saying hello, or asking what it can do. A question it has to look through your files to answer is a task. A task bigger than one turn stops and asks whether to continue, and continuing is a new task. One task works on up to 50 on Free, 500 on Premium, 5,000 on Max and Team, and 10,000 on Business files at a time; a bigger job is narrowed to a folder or a date range, or needs the plan with the higher ceiling. Unattended work, like a live table refreshing itself as files change, counts as workflow files instead.
What happens when I use them all?
The assistant tells you. Your tasks come back on your reset date, which Settings → Usage shows: your billing date on a paid plan, and on the free plan the day of the month your workspace was made. You can upgrade for more at any time. Nothing else in the workspace changes: your files, workflows and everything the assistant already did stay exactly as they are.
What is a workflow file?
Every file a workflow processes counts once against your monthly allowance — an upload it files, an attachment it saves, a Drive file it renames. A run that fails hands its file back. The count resets on your billing date, and files a workflow could not take are listed under Workflows so nothing goes missing quietly.
What is the difference between Premium and Max?
Premium includes 500 assistant tasks a month, each working on up to 500 files at a time, with 100 workflow files per month, 20 GB storage, and support for all file types. Max includes 2,000 assistant tasks a month on up to 5,000 files at a time, and the assistant and your workflows work directly in Google Drive, OneDrive, SharePoint, Dropbox and Device, and with Gmail, Outlook, Slack and Microsoft Teams. It adds 1,000 workflow files per month, 500 GB storage, no cap on file count, e-signatures and file requests.
Which plans connect my drives and inboxes?
Connected drives (Google Drive, OneDrive, SharePoint, Dropbox and Device) and connected inboxes and channels (Gmail, Outlook, Slack and Microsoft Teams) come with Max and Team. The assistant works on files where they live, and importing and exporting still work too. Workflows on files uploaded to The Drive AI work on every plan, free included.
Can I cancel anytime?
Yes. Cancel from Settings → Billing and you keep full access until the end of your billing period. After that a team workspace is read-only and every file is kept for 90 days, so you can reactivate and pick up where you left off; we email you before anything is deleted. Personal workspaces revert to the free plan and keep their files. Team workspaces can also pause billing for the off-season — nothing is charged while paused, everything is kept, and resuming is one click with no new checkout. A pause runs for up to 90 days; if you have not resumed by then the subscription ends and the files are kept for the usual 90 days after that.
What happens if my payment fails?
Nothing, at first. Cards expire and banks decline for all sorts of reasons, so a failed charge does not change anything about your workspace — it keeps working exactly as before. We retry the card for up to 14 days and email you, and you can update it any time from Settings → Billing. Only if every retry fails does the subscription end, and even then your files are kept for 90 days.
How does team pricing work?
Team is $79 per seat per month billed annually ($95 monthly), with a 3-seat minimum and no maximum. Every seat adds 2,000 assistant tasks, 1,000 workflow files per month and 1 TB of storage to a pool the whole team shares, and includes everything in Max plus admin controls, member management and multiple integrations in a single workspace. Need more workflow files in a month? Packs of 1,000 are $69.
Is there a free trial for teams?
Yes — a 7-day free trial on every new team workspace, one per person. A card is required to start it and nothing is charged until the trial ends.
Is there a discount for annual billing?
Yes. Annual billing gives you up to 2 months free on personal plans.
How are payments handled?
Web payments are processed securely through Stripe. iOS subscriptions are handled through Apple and Android subscriptions through Google Play Store.
