No. Importing copies files into The Drive AI. Your original files remain untouched in Google Drive. This is a non-destructive operation — zero risk to your existing data.
No. This is import and export — not a live sync. You import files when you want them in The Drive AI, and export files back when you need them in Google Drive. Changes made in one place are not automatically reflected in the other.
All standard file formats are imported as-is — PDFs, images, Office documents, and more. Google Docs, Sheets, and Slides are converted to their Microsoft Office equivalents (docx, xlsx, pptx) during import.
Yes. Every Shared Drive your Google account belongs to can be browsed, imported from, exported to, and watched by a workflow — including watching a whole Shared Drive rather than one folder in it. A Shared Drive is not a folder under My Drive, so you pick the drive first and then browse inside it.
